Jensen Ackles deserves an Emmy. It's too bad a show like Supernatural will never be considered.
He killed me in the last scene of tonight's episode. Anytime that man cries, I get so emotional! It reminded me of the last episode of House last season, watching Robert Sean Leonard as Wilson. I was completely drained afterwards.

We're going to the World Series for the first time ever!
Unbelievable.

And the Bucs won tonight too. I was flipping between games. Great night for Tampa sports fans.

So tomorrow is Thursday, Jan. 31, which means new Lost AND new Supernatural. 
I can't handle the happy.

I hope you've all had the chance to spend some quality time with family and friends.

I have pneumonia.

How did that happen? I only ever hear about little kids and old people getting it. 

After that fever and cough developed last Wednesday, I took the day off and went to the Dr. on Friday. She said it was probably something viral, gave me some cough medicine with codeine and told me to come back on Monday if I still had a fever.
Moved out of my apartment on Saturday morning, which was no fun at all considering, and then slept and coughed the rest of the day and on Sunday. Went back to the Dr. on Monday morning and she could hear it right away but did blood work and a chest x-ray just to confirm.
So, apparently my goal for the week is to stay well enough that I don't end up in the hospital. The Dr. is calling me every day to check on me and I have to go back in on Friday to see how things are progressing.

This is not fun! I'm so out of breath. I can go to the bathroom and then literally have to sit for 5 minutes to catch my breath afterwards. I can't shower cause I can't breathe with the steam.

And I'm not allowed to go to work again until she says it's okay. I was only there for 4 days after getting back from a two week vacation before this. And two of those days I was already sick. Argh. I also missed our media party Monday night, which is the biggest event for PR for the year. Good job Tara, way to earn bonus points at work.

I know it could be worse, so I shouldn't complain too much, but poo.

bluesmurf, didn't we break up a couple years ago? Don't try to come crawling back now.

	Dear Cupid, This year, I've had my ups and downs in the love department.
Singleframes and I ate spaghetti lady and the tramp style. I was arrested for stalking Andibeth82. I went to the movies with Bluesmurf and they tried to do the whole yawn and arm around the shoulder bit.

Man, am I glad it's Friday. What a long and exhausting week it has been.

I won lotto last night so I saw the show again, this time from the front row. It really is amazing how much of a different experience you get from sitting in different parts of a theater. But then, most of you are theater people, so you already know that.

Anyway, the show was wonderful and everyone seemed to be more 'on' this time around. Stephanie seemed to have much better control over her voice this time, and I was much more impressed with Kendra. Sebastian impressed me even more than he did last week. The amount of noise that is produced when he comes out for the curtain call is insane.
And there was a massive mob around him at the stage door that I was barely able to navigate around to make it inside.

Logan was out, so there was an understudy for Boq, which was fine by me.

And just a note, since just about all of my entries lately have been friends locked and a lot of them have to do with work, I think I'm going to go completely friends only after this. So, if you are lurking and want to be added, speak now.

I love this show. I really do.
I went Thursday night. There are some things that have been scaled down a little for the tour, but the show still gives me goosebumps.

Stephanie has an amazing voice and I really like what she does with Elphaba. It did sound like she might have been struggling with the voice a bit though. I really noticed it in Defying Gravity and As Long As You're Mine. She didn't do the wicked witch laugh, which made me sad.

Kendra.. I don't know. Some things I really liked and others I really didn't. I think her mic might have been too low at the beginning cause it was hard to hear her. Her popular was fun. I think overall, I preferred her Act 2.

Sebastian really impressed me. I didn't expect to like him as much as I did. I only ever saw him as Gordon in Rent and I wasn't blown away by his performance or anything. But I loved his Fiyero. He had that whole laid back, not caring attitude down really well. And his voice was right on.
I ran into him in the hallway on Thursday afternoon. He was leaving their matinee and I was taking a break before coming back for the night show. We chatted for a bit on our way out the stage door, where he got mobbed and I escaped the crowd as quickly as possible.

I really liked David Garrison's Wizard. He's got a great voice.

The guy playing Boq - Logan something I think? I really liked his acting, but couldn't stand his voice. It drove me nuts.


I'll probably be playing lotto quite a few times in the next few weeks and I think there will be some times that I will only be playing for me, so for anyone who can make it here in 2 hours and would want to go with me to the show if I win, let me know. It's $25.

If there's anyone left out there who's not watching Lost, you really need to get with the program.
Seriously. Best show ever.
